Twenty-One

Hey guys, so as some of you may know I recently turned 21 — yay! I had the best weekend thanks to my wonderful boyfriend, family and friends! I just wanted to share a few moments from my birthday with you as it was truly amazing — I am so lucky!

I woke up on Saturday morning and opened my presents and cards from my family, friends and Ross. I received the most thoughtful gifts and I am so, so grateful - I can't thank everyone enough! However, just before I opened my presents this gorgeous bouquet of roses was delivered. They were from Ross — so pretty!

I then spent the rest of the day pampering myself and getting ready for the night ahead. Ross and I planned to go for dinner at my favourite italian, Poldino's, and then meet everyone else later for a party and then a night out in town. However, when we arrived at the restaurant my cousin and his girlfriend surprised me by driving all the way from Glasgow to spend the evening with us! I couldn't stop smiling! It made my night!

After dinner, we headed back to Ross' where the celebrations continued as the rest of my friends arrived.

After the drink went to our (my) heads.

With my cousin and with his girlfriend, Jess.

It was such a good night! Ross also surprised me with a Millie's cookie cake. I absolutely love Millie's cookies so this was the perfect cake for me! That boy is full of surprises!

The next day I was surprisingly not as hungover as I thought I'd be so we met my cousin and Jess for Nandos before they travelled back to Glasgow and then headed straight back to bed to have a very lazy Sunday.

I had the best weekend and I feel so lucky to have such great family and friends. I'm especially grateful to Ross as he pretty much treated me like a princess for the whole weekend and made sure I had the best time!

I hope you enjoyed this post I can't say it enough how thankful I am to Ross, my family and my friends for making my birthday so special.

How did you spend your 21st? How would you want to spend it?

'Til next time — Laura xo
