Linton & Mac's First Birthday Bash
Hey guys, I can't believe it's been a over a year since I went to my first ever blog event at Linton & Mac. I was so nervous and hardly spoke to anyone but then maybe I was just gobsmacked by the amazing interiors that greeted me when I walked through Linton & Mac's doors. One year on and the salon has become a styling power house. From offering all the services you could ever need — hair, nails, make up, you name it they have it — to winning award after award throughout their first 12 months. As a client of theirs it's been amazing to see this business grow at such an incredible rate. Of course, the best way to celebrate this massive achievement is to fill the salon with balloons, prosecco, gin, 90s trolls, some fabulous looking models and candy floss! It was great to see the massive turnout of people who wanted to congratulate Linton and Mac on their first year.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a glass of prosecco and gigantic balloons that were approx. 10x the size on my head — #balloongoals. I was so excited to see that they had those crazy hair 90's trolls — seriously though, those trolls need their hair sorted out by the Linton & Mac team — dotted about the place some promising a surprise gift. Refreshment-wise they all areas covered, with huge ice barrels of Fierce beer (Aberdeen's fiercest local beer), a "Boost your bubble" bar (which had everything you could ever need to give your prosecco that extra oomph) and a gin station featuring Porter's Gin (Yes Please!). There was also alcohol laced fruit for the health conscious drinker. And for when you're feeling slightly tipsy there was plenty of food to go round with mini bangers and mash, mini pizzas, cupcakes and candy floss.
All the girls and guys of Linton & Mac seemed in such good spirits and it was so nice to see how they have become like a little family. They all really deserved this amazing afternoon and I was so glad I got to share it with them. I can't wait to see what the next year brings for them!
Have you been to Linton & Mac? What did you think?
