Small Things: 04
I've had such a busy weekend that this post is coming to you slightly late. Blogger guilt is something I'm still trying to get rid off and learning it's not the end of the world if I don't get a post out on time — sometimes that's life! On another, more positive, note I'm really enjoying writing these little posts. Just taking a moment to sit back and think about a few things I have been really grateful over the past couple of weeks — I love it.
I finally managed to get my hands on a new lens for my Olympus Pen. I've been wanting the 45mm f1.8 lens for a while and I'm so glad I went for it. I've not managed to have a proper go at taking blog photos with it yet but from playing about with it so far, it's safe to say that I'm not disappointed.
Podcast episode two
My second episode of 'One Cocktail At A Time' went live last Friday. It featured Charlotte from Colours & Carousels who I caught up with to find out all about her new business — Content By Charlotte, how she keeps everything organised and about not being your typical blogger. You can catch it here or on Apple Podcasts here.
Ross and I had a little weekend away in Aberdeen. It was a crazy, busy weekend — thank god, we took today off work — but it was so good to catch up with all our friends up there.
I have been bitten by the Sims bug and re-downloaded Sims 4. Cue evenings of reliving a childhood favourite. And ofcourse I had to get the Cats & Dogs expansion pack so I can live my dream of having a little pug puppy, especially as we are not allowed pets in the flat.
My friend had her baby shower at the weekend. It was so great to see her surrounded by family getting ready for a new little arrival. I am absolutely over the moon for her and cannot wait to see how her family grows when the little one arrives.
What have you been grateful for over the past couple of weeks?
