Good Hair Guaranteed

In the same way with my skin, my hair and I have a love / hate relationship. I love how it’s naturally wavy but hate that even the tiniest bit of moisture and it ends up even frizzier than Princess Mia pre-princess makeover, not ideal when you live in Scotland! But come good hair days or Miss Trunchbull look-a-like hair days I am always looking for the perfect product to tame the frizz.

So, when Kelly from Monat got in touch to ask if I wanted to try out a new hair brand that has recently brought it's products to the UK, I was definitely interested to see how it would work with my hair. Kelly sent me some samples from the Hydration range which she picked out to help tame the frizz. I tested out the Renew Shampoo, Replenish Masque and the Rejuveniqe Oil Intensive

The Process:

1. I started off with the Rejuveniqe Oil Intensive which can not only be used on hair but skin too! For hair, the package says it helps reduce breakage and increases natural shine. I applied a pea sized amount to my dry hair and let it work its magic for about 15 minutes before shampooing.

2. Next, I used the Renew Shampoo which is a salt and sulphate-free gentle hydrating cleanser. It helps promote natural hair growth and smells absolutely incredible. I washed my hair twice with this.

3. Finally, I applied the Replenish Masque on damp, towel dried hair and left it to sink in for 15 minutes before rinsing and drying my hair. The Replenish Masque helps to repair and hydrate damaged hair whilst eliminating frizz and reducing split ends. It suggests you use this masque once or twice a week.

So, did it work?

In short, yes, yes it did. My hair was a lot smoother, with no frizz in sight. I did find the process to be quite long. One that is perfect for a Sunday pamper sesh but not so much for the weekday morning rush. However, I was surprised to see that it kept the frizz at bay even after the next wash so only doing this process once or twice a week is enough.

All in all I was really surprised at how well it tamed my hair, it is definitely one of the best products I've tried for frizz and I loved that the effects lasted more than just one wash. The products are definitely in a higher price range than I'd normally go for but for the promise of ever-lasting good hair days it's definitely a price I'd pay.
